Thank YOU for a Hell of a Year

There have been times during 2025 that I, like many of you, wondered how much media

chaos I could endure.

Dear readers, followers, friends and family members, you have helped to turn a tough personal trip around the sun into a successful professional year. Thank you.

You have purchased more titles from me than during any year since I entered this

retirement career in 2016. Many of you have personally given me feedback:

encouragement to continue. Thank you.

You may not have realized that personal and family health issues have often made it difficult for me focus on writing and marketing of my novels. Yet, whether directly or indirectly, you have lifted me up. Thank you.

Conflicting Roots was released in March. It took fifty years to get this bird to fly and

with your support it is soaring. Thank you.

The three titles of Lizzie Millett’s Series continue to catch the attention of readers, reviewers and AI scammers, especially the first book, The Spinster’s Hope Chest (2018). At the many fairs, shows and signings I have attended this year, it is especially gratifying to meet customers who read one of the three titles and return as friends to buy the others. Thank you.

At this turn of the Winter Solstice from deepening darkness to the light of approaching

spring, I am working to close out the political shades which haunt our days long enough

to be able to write a fourth novel about Lizzie, her family and friends. Perhaps, if you

keep asking me about it, the task will be easier.
